Each commission is drawn by hand in coloured pencil, with close attention to detail, expression, and the quiet individuality of your animal.
This is not a quick digital render.
It is slow, layered, intentional work.

Our Process
Booking and deposit
A 30% deposit secures your place in my commission schedule.
Framing
All commissioned portraits are supplied professionally framed as part of the listed price.
I offer a carefully selected standard framing style that complements the artwork and allows the portrait to sit naturally within a range of interior spaces. Framing details will be discussed with you prior to completion.
Should you prefer an alternative frame style or custom specification beyond the standard option, this can be arranged at an additional cost.
Each artwork is created using archival materials and framed using professional framers in Hobart .We discuss size, background tone and composition.
Postage & Delivery
Framed artworks are carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival.
Postage within Australia is included in the commission price. All deliveries are sent via tracked service, and tracking details will be provided once your portrait has been dispatched.
If you are located outside Australia, please enquire for a shipping quote.
Creation
Your portrait is carefully created over approximately 3–5 weeks. I use quality lightfast coloured pencils and polychromes. I use archival acid free paper and professionally mount all artwork using framers in Hobart.
Lets get started
Send through your favourite good quality photographs and a short note about your animal. Together, we will choose the best image to ensure your hand drawn pet portrait captures the essence of your special animal. We discuss size, background tone and composition.
